THE ECM EXPERTS

Case Studies

TCG has worked with Financial Services organisations such Cabot Financial, a market leader in consumer debt purchase to enable them to control, manage and process business critical information including its vast amount of customer correspondence more effectively, thereby facilitating an enhanced level of customer service.

The Construction and Utilities industry is often perceived as lagging behind in the adoption of new technologies. However, we see ECM as underpinning the way in which construction and utilities organisations will develop and achieve the efficiencies needed to attain moving forwards.

Manufacturing and Distribution organisation such as Montague L. Meyer, both the leading and oldest independent importer and distributor of wood-based panel products, needed a business process management system to be as efficient as possible to cope with the workload eg. within their financial functions, to process purchase orders authorisations and credit limitation applications. Replacing thier legacy system with state of the art document management capabilities enabled them to automate some of the more time-consuming tasks.

TCG has worked with Public Sector organisations such as Hairmyres NHS Hospital Trust to automate and improve the hospital’s internal processes used for the communication and delivery of patient laboratory results. The improved processes and document control and enabled specific departments to have much tighter control, improved efficiency and management of information throughout the department as well as controlled and secure distribution to GPs.

Professional, Media & IT organisations such as Virgin Media invested in an document automation solution to underpin the delivery of customer service enhancements, as well as drive cost and efficiency savings within the organisation’s logistics operation.

ECM: Blinded By Simplicity
Are organisations blinded by the simplicity of ECM technologies? The concepts inherent within the component technologies, from document scanning to workflow, are simple and easily understood. Green Office
Was the idea of the paperless office a myth? Since it was sold as a viable option over a decade ago, most organisations have seen paper consumption increase. Of course, at the same time the volume of information available to individuals has risen exponentially. In this digital world, the increase in paper is, in part, a reflection of the increased information traffic across all media, not just paper and is reflective of what is really an information revolution.
