THE ECM EXPERTS

The Enterprise Content Management Best Practice Methodology

TCG has acquired a wealth of experience after more than 12 years advising on and deploying Enterprise Content Management (ECM) strategies and has gathered together a team of ECM Experts, recognised for and frequently consulted on their expertise and knowledge. Indeed, TCG’s teams have a combined experience of over 350 years in the industry.

The team is headed up by Ben Richmond, the Founder and CEO, who is also leading the British Standards Institute initiatives and who heads up the steering group committee. The resultant Publically Available Specification – a framework for best practice in ECM – is expected to be available from September 2010.

TCG has advised on, deployed and subsequently managed multi-million pound ECM programmes for both the private and public sectors over the last 12 years, meeting and conquering every obstacle that has come its way, each time using and/or building upon its already extensive experience.

ECM Expert is the best practice methodology designed by TCG to ensure successful ECM programmes across the globe.

The following modules comprise TCG's complete ECM Expert programme. ECM can be a complex subject and there are many examples of expensive failures both in the private and public sectors. The overriding aim of the ECM Expert programme is to reduce the risk and likelihood of failure through a structure, transparent and well proven ECM Strategy.

Five Ways To Go Green With ECM
Improved information management and access enables mobile working and hot desking which allows organisations to reduce the size of offices, conserving valuable resources by minimising electricity – light, heat, air conditioning – requirements.

ECM: Blinded By Simplicity
Are organisations blinded by the simplicity of ECM technologies? The concepts inherent within the component technologies, from document scanning to workflow, are simple and easily understood. As a result there is a growing indication that organisations are underestimating the need for vertical market knowledge.

So you think you’re doing ECM?
The majority of ECM deployments are little more than point solutions that deliver limited corporate benefit.  Despite huge investment in ECM technologies such as document management and web content management, few organisations are realising quantifiable benefit.
